What is Acidophilus

To state it simple, acidophilus is a type of pro-biotic of beneficial bacteria that fights off the bad bacteria in your intestinal tract.   This is good for you since it helps improve digestion, help prevent infection, and can help promote a better healthy feeling.

Where do you get Acidophilus?

Well besides just going and talking to your pharmacist about supplements, many people consume yogurt products as they often contain a nice source of acidophilus.  Look at he labels and brands out there as some may contain more sources than others of acidophilus.

Side Effects?

There have been people who have had side effects from taken the recommended dosages.  These include the feeling of bloating, cramps, and diarrhea.   As with anything, be sure to talk to your doctor and always take the recommended dosages.

So maybe acidophilus could be something you might want to add to daily health routine.
