Kick Boxing Drill 1 - A Sample Training Outline

Training in kickboxing can be a great full body workout that can really increase your cardiovascular limit at the same time.  One way of doing this is to set up different drills and techniques performed on a heavy bag and perform multiple sets with a rest to work ratio of 1:3.

Kickboxing technique sample:

  1. Jab, cross the bag for 45 seconds
  2. rest for 15 seconds
  3. Jab, cross, hook - 45 sec
  4. rest 15
  5. Jab, cross, hook, round house kick - 45 seconds
  6. rest 1 minute
Now repeat the above training but this time ensure your stance is opposite and your hands are switched from last time.
